About Raconte! — Presentation

Raconte ! takes a step-by-step « 4 sections » approach with a repetitive (systematic) layout that will guide students at A2 level   through:

  • pronunciation (phonetic spelling / sounds)
  • listening comprehension
  • oral production
  • linguistic structures
  • Section 1 :
    • Students will discover French phonemes, will listen to, read and repeat French words.
    • This page offers a monologue to read and to listen to simultaneously.
    • Students will associate the sounds with the spelling of the words; this, in turn, will allow them to identify these words more easily in an audio excerpt.
    • Students will then listen to and read some questions in French.
    • They will answer these questions in French, following the various examples presented in the text.
  • Section 2 :
    • Students will discover French phonemes and will listen to, read and repeat French words.
    • They will listen to a dialogue (without the transcript, this time) and answer traditional comprehension questions in English.
    • They will then read some questions in French as they listen to them.
    • They will answer these questions in French, following the various examples that they have heard in the audio document.
  • Section 3 :
    • They will associate the sounds and the spelling of the words in a grid.
    • They will listen to a narration (without the transcript) and answer comprehension questions in English.
